The recipient of numerous honors and awards for her advocacy of women’s heart health, in addition to her appearance in New York Magazine’s current annual Best Doctors List (for the fifteenth time), her unique honors, include General Mills’ cereal promotion, featuring her likeness with a public service message on 3,000,000 boxes of Wheat Chex and Multi-Grain Chex. She has also been recognized by the American Heart Association as the recipient of its “Dr. with Heart” Award, Woman’s Day Magazine’s “Red Dress Award” and The Women at Heart 2006 Award from the Links Greater New York Chapter.
